To celebrate reaching 19,000 members in The Cookbook Junkies group, I would like to share a few of my favorite things with you and then offer a little giveaway as a thank you for your support!
The Triology Collection by J.K. Adams
I love J.K. Adams products – they are quality pieces, beautiful, while functional.
As a cookbook/book lover, I am particularly fond of The Triology Collection. These boards are beautiful just sitting on your counter but also functional to serve small bites – cheese and crackers on one, charuterie on another. They are not huge but I believe the perfect size for nibbles and make a lovely presentation.
Look at this gorgeous cavarola board and corzetti stamps from Artisanal Pasta Tools. I want everything that this website sells. What beautiful gifts for those who love to cook.
I’ve loved these rolling pins from the first time my friend, Pam, posted about them. They are simply gorgeous. I have the Folk style pin shown below. It is the perfect gift for a kitchen enthusiast or baker. They are shipped from Poland very quickly and come wrapped beautifully for gift giving. Valek can engrave your name on a pin (blog name, grandma’s name, whatever you like.)
Function and beauty. This ravioli pin from Repast is simply stunning. My pin hangs on the wall and has been the topic of many conversations about how beautiful it is. A month ago I made ravioli using the pin and it was simple and easy once I followed all the instructions and watched the video on the Repast site. See my photo below showing the results of my first use of this great product. I made homemade ricotta on Sunday and plan to make ravioli again this week. I love Repast’s mission to have people roll up their sleeves and cook a meal for someone they love. It is an expensive piece, but the quality involved in this product is evident. It will be passed down for generations. I am putting additional Repast items on my wish list!
I love honey! Honey Ridge Farm Products are delicious, affordable and their selection is impressive. I have also tried the honey vinegar and we enjoyed it. The honey cremes are incredible served with pretzels, crackers and cheese — people were raving. I will be developing a recipe or two with these products in the next few weeks and will be sharing more information about this great company.
There are times, even when I lived in New York, that I could not find an ingredient for a recipe. I always turn to igourmet.com when that happens. A few months ago I need carrot honey for a risotto recipe and found it at igourmet. Recently, I received some products and they arrived quickly and in perfect condition — cheese, raw honey and this jam and jelly.
igourmet has a huge selection, good prices and they do gift baskets as well! If it is food related, they have it. In a few weeks, I will be doing a separate post using some of their products.
My friend, Renee, is a talented artist. I especiallly love her personalized painted aprons. She can paint anything! Her Etsy shop Kudo Kitchens Paints is full of wonderful personalized gifts for everyone. Renee doesn’t know I’m mentioning her today – but I love her work! I have ordered gifts for people and have received a hand painted towel as a gift but I haven’t splurged on myself yet! Soon! Just look at this apron!
